Waste Management’s first quarterly Styrofoam recycling collection of 2026 is coming up this weekend.
The collection is offered 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Westside Landfill Recycling Center, 60050 Roberts Road, Three Rivers.
The recycling station is on the east side of the landfill.
There is no charge and acceptable items include dinnerware, take-out containers, meat and fish trays, egg cartons, packing material and foam peanuts that are packaged separately.
Insulation board and fire-retardant foam are not accepted. The collection is a partnership between Waste Management and DART Corp.
Subsequent collections this year are May 9, and dates to be determined in August and November.
