Robert Peter Meindertsma, born February 14, 1935, age 90, went to be with his Lord, Wednesday, February 12, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Jeanne Marie Meindertsma whom he was married to for 57 years; his parents John and Catherine Meindertsma; siblings Larry (Audrey) Meindertsma, Richard (Phyllis) Meindertsma; grandson Owen Senior; sister-in-law Linda Deising; and nephew Raymond Bardwell.
He will be fondly remembered by his children Susan Meindertsma-Fox, Kelly (Andy) Bradburn, Jill (John) Senior, Bobbie Jo (Scott) Hudson; grandchildren Devon (Nykalas), Dakota (Breanna), Colton, Kennedy, Rhett, Race, Noel; great-grandchildren Francisco, Santiago, and Atticus; many nieces, nephews and loving friends, including his long time best friend Michael Zant.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Wesley Park United Methodist Church, 1150 32nd St SW, Wyoming, MI 49509 for visitation from 10:00 AM to12:00 PM. Refreshments will be served during visitation. Services will start at 12:00 at the church. The Rev. Pastor Gregory Kendrick, Jr. will officiate the service. Interment will be held at Floral View Memorial Gardens in Grandville, MI.
