GOCC and WMU announce articulation agreement

Glen Oaks Community College and Western Michigan University have announced new articulation agreements.

Glen Oaks officials said the agreements will strengthen academic pathways for students pursuing careers in health care, education and social services, and provide a smooth transition for Glen Oaks students completing associate degrees to transfer into related bachelor’s programs at Western.

The areas included in the agreement are biochemistry, biology, biomedical science, chemistry, psychology, health administration, RN, social work and industrial technology education.

Articulation agreements ensure that coursework completed at Glen Oaks aligns directly with the requirements of the WMU Bachelor’s Degree programs.
