United Way accepting donations to help with tornado recovery

St. Joseph County United Way is appealing to the public for monetary donations to help with recovery efforts associated with last week’s tornado.

Agency officials said a PayPal link is available as well as a QR code for a safe and easy way to donate.

Donations have helped the United Way purchase and provide bottled water, toiletries, bleach, hair ties, first-aid kits, trash bags and other necessary provisions.

Meanwhile, Three Rivers Walmart earlier today delivered two truckloads of food and supplies to the United Way site.
