Cass County Sheriff’s Office has announced the addition of its new K9.
Officer KJ recently joined the Cassopolis-based agency. KJ is a 9-week-old bloodhound set to receive training in a practice called man trailing. KJ’s sister, Britton, has recently completed the training.
KJ’s name serves as a tribute to Cass County dispatcher Kelly Jerue, who succumbed to cancer last year.
Updates on KJ’s training can be viewed on Facebook through the page: Britton & KJ The Bloodhounds.
