A Cass County man was arrested last week on weapons-related offenses.
Michigan State Police troopers on Saturday stopped a vehicle on U.S. 12 near Tharp Lake Road in Mason Township for excessive speed.
Troopers observed two firearms inside the vehicle. One of the weapons was found to be stolen from an undisclosed location, troopers said.
A 21-year-old Edwardsburg man was arrested on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, and receiving and concealing a stolen firearm, according to authorities.
