Storm brush collection to begin

Three Rivers city leaders have issued a media release related to brush collection.

Over the next several weeks, residents may notice staff and equipment around town as they work to remove fallen brush and storm debris from terraces.

Residents who place their debris in their property’s terrace are asked to cut branches into sections no longer than eight feet. Also, tree trunks will be accepted if they are cut into manageable sections.

Tree stumps, meanwhile, will be rejected.

Anyone wishing to dispose of brush on their own can take it to Department of Public Services, 1015 S. Lincoln Ave. Contractors are asked to contact DPS personnel directly for further instructions. Its number is 273-1845.
