Tina Marianna Roberts, age 37, of Sturgis, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, April 5, 2026, after a long illness, surrounded by those who loved her. She was born on April 6, 1988 in Tacoma, Washington to Gregory Roberts and Maria Gutierrez.
Tina graduated from Sturgis High School with the Class of 2006. Following graduation, she spent several years traveling and living across the country, including over six years in Great Falls, Montana, a few years in Texas, and eight years back in Tacoma, , before returning to Sturgis for the past two years.
Tina built a career in the hospitality industry, where she worked as a manager and general manager for several restaurants. She had a deep love for music, especially country and classic rock and roll. In her free time, she enjoyed painting, playing volleyball and softball, and spending time with loved ones. Tina was known for her vibrant personality—she was outgoing, full of life, and often the heart of any gathering. She also had a special love for children, her late dog Smush, and was a devoted fan of Tom Brady.
She is survived by her father, Gregory (Lori Batten) Roberts of Coldwater, Michigan; her sister, Jennifer (Cole) Butcher of Great Falls, Montana; her nieces, Addison and Hailey Butcher; her significant other, Pedro Sanchez of Sturgis, as well as many aunts, uncles, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Margaret Roberts.
In accordance with Tina’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are scheduled at this time.
