I&M updates temporary relief following tornado

Indiana Michigan Power last week announced updates to temporary relief measures implemented for customers affected by recent tornadoes in Three Rivers.

Mona Livingston, I&M’s customer services manager, said waived late fees, and waived disconnect and reconnect fees are relief measures that will remain in place through May 31.

The moratorium on disconnects that was put into place following the March 6 tornado ended last week. Customers facing difficulties paying their electric bills are urged to contact I&M to discuss payment options, Livingston said.
