Indiana Michigan Power plans public outreach meeting

Indiana Michigan Power is hosting two, in-person Integrated Resource Planning Engagement and Public Outreach meetings, including one in Three Rivers.

The meetings will provide customer and stakeholder information on the integrated resource planning process, outlining the development of the plan and I&M’s energy transition goals.

I&M will have representatives from Customer Services, Energy Efficiency, Distribution, Regulatory and Resource Planning to answer questions, and direct customers to resources.

The first public outreach meetings for I&M’s 2027 Michigan IRP will be this evening in Benton Harbor.

The other will be 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Three Rivers Area Chamber of Commerce, on North Main Street.

The IRP is a comprehensive plan outlining how an electric utility will provide reliable, cost-effective power for customers while addressing risks and uncertainty inherent in the utility industry.
