Bonnie Jean King, 57, of Three Rivers, died Friday, March 12, 2010 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. She was born in Three Rivers on Aug. 22, 1952 the daughter of Loyd M. and Belva Mae (Rosen) Young, and was a lifetime resident of the Three Rivers area. She was a graduate of Three Rivers School and a homemaker. Bonnie enjoyed caring for others, and in her spare time went garage saleing and fishing. She also enjoyed tinkering on cars and small engines. She was a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Bonnie is survived by two daughters, Amanda Lynn King and Tina Marie King both of Three Rivers; eight brothers and sisters, Juanita Phillips (Al) of Jones, Judy Young, Zelma Fisher (Tom) and Michelle Clipfell (Wyman) all of Three Rivers, Carl Carlisle (Chris) of White Pigeon, Sharon Chapman of Kalamazoo, Jessica Majka (Mark) of Tennessee and Dale Carlisle (Connie) of Sturgis; many nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Cremation has been conducted. A memorial gathering will be held Thursday, March 18, from 1-5 p.m. at the Three Rivers American Legion Post #170. Memorials will be directed to the family. An online register is available and condolences may be left at www.eickhofffuneralhome.com.
