Audrey Vedmore, 63

Audrey Jane Vedmore, age 63, of Three Rivers passed away peacefully surrounded by family early Friday, March 19, 2010 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. She was born in Chicago, IL., on Jan. 20, 1947 the daughter of James and Audrey (Bell) Kimble.

Janie has been a long time resident of Three Rivers where she and her husband, Gary Vedmore, raised their three children. Janie was employed for over thirty years as a teacher’s aide for Andrews Elemetary School where she touched the lives of many many children.

Janie was an avid Three Rivers Wildcat and Notre Dame fan. She never missed an opportunity to witness one of her children or grandchildren’s sporting events, and loved cheering on her favorite teams. Her true passion was family, her children, and grandchildren who will forever miss her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Jeffrey Allen Vedmore.

Janie leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Gary Vedmore, of Three Rivers; two daughters, Lisa Vedmore and Lauri Schirk; three grandchildren, Aaron Vedmore and Alex and Austin Schirk; all of Three Rivers; one sister, Jodell Cutler, of Vicksburg; and many many friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at the Hohner Funeral Home.

A memorial celebration will be held 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church, Three Rivers, with Rev. Jon and Brenda Deily officiating.

Memorials may be donated to the family of Janie Vedmore c/o Lauri Schirk or Lisa Vedmore. Envelopes available at the funeral home and church.
