Glenna E. Bisel, age 101, of Sturgis, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at Thurston Woods Village.
She was born Dec. 11, 1908, in Portland, Ind., a daughter of the late Oren and Anna (Stout) Grafmiller.
Glenna graduated from Battle Creek High School with the class of 1928.
On April 20, 1930, she married Kenneth M. Bisel in Battle Creek. He preceded her in death June 25, 1986.
Glenna had resided in Coldwater until 1949 before moving to Sturgis. She enjoyed working alongside her husband, Kenneth, in the retail store businesses from 1928-1979 and enjoyed the times they spent transporting the Amish to various vacation spots.
Surviving are two sons, Keith (Roberta) Bisel of Congress, Ariz., and Noel (Elaine) Bisel of Holland; and six grandchildren.
According to her wishes there, will be no service or visitation, as cremation has taken place.
Arrangements are being handled by the Hackman Family Funeral Home Rosenberg Chapel, 807 E. Chicago Road, Sturgis.
