Delilah J. Boals, age 46, of Sturgis, passed away Monday morning, July 19, 2010, at her home.
She was born Nov. 5, 1963, in West Virginia.
Delilah had resided in Sturgis for the past five years, coming from LaGrange, Ind., where she had been employed at the U.S. post office. She had also worked at Applebee’s restaurant and Citizens Bank, both in Sturgis.
She attended Whole Life Christian Fellowship Church in Sturgis, and enjoyed buying and selling on eBay and playing golf. She loved time spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her fiancé, David Weslock of Sturgis; four sons, Josh Sweet of Sturgis, R.J. Sweet of Shipshewana, Ind., Patrick Sweet of Sturgis and Michael Boals of Sturgis; four grandchildren, Gage, Dominic, Alexandria, Sylus and Syrus; mother, Opal Brinager of LaGrange; a sister, Vicki Lindowski of Berrien Springs; a brother, George Brinager of LaGrange; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Ashley.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Delilah Boals will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Whole Life Christian Fellowship Church, 1420 E. Chicago Road, Sturgis.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes Hackman Chapel, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis, is entrusted with the arrangements.
