James M. Harvey, 42, of Three Rivers, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010 at his home. He was born on April 13, 1968 in Three Rivers and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Three Rivers High School and attended Glen Oaks Community College, receiving certificates in auto repair. He was employed as an auto mechanic in Three Rivers and Kalamazoo.
Jim enjoyed most spending time with his two sons, fishing, working on cars, and NASCAR.
He is survived by his mother, Janice E. Harvey; father, John R. Harvey; two sons, James J. Harvey and Jackson R. Harvey; brother, Joe (Danyelle Williams) Harvey; the mother of his children and her children, Teresa Kovac, Rikki Kovac and Dusty Kovac all of Three Rivers. He was preceded in death by his brother, John R. Harvey.
Friends may call at the Eickhoff, Farrand, Halverson Chapel in Three Rivers on Monday, Sept. 27 from 1-2 p.m. Services will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Three Rivers.
Memorial donations can be directed to a charity of choice.
