Bobby D. Price, Jr., 54, of Three Rivers, died Friday Sept. 24, 2010 at his mother’s home near Three Rivers following a long illness. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on Oct. 11, 1955 the son of Bobby D. and Dorothy A. (Farley) Price. Bobby was raised in Three Rivers and resided in Georgia and Florida before serving in the U.S. Army with the 101st Airborne Division. He returned to Three Rivers in 1980. While living here he was a carpenter, building homes and doing home repairs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and singing with the Calvary Gospel Singers.
Bobby is survived by his mother, Dorothy “Dottie” Tout of Three Rivers; one brother, Michael Tout of Three Rivers; a sister, Lori Holder (Tim) of Three Rivers; half-sisters, Karen, Mary Jane, Veronica, and Sherry; a niece, Jacqueline Mathews (Andrew) of Sturgis; and a great-nephew, Johnnathan Alexzander Leroy Mathews. He was preceded in death by his father; and by his step-father, Leroy W. Tout.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Eickhoff, Farrand, Halverson Chapel in Three Rivers. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29 at the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 523 N. Maple St., in Three Rivers with Pastor Kyle Foster, and his brother, Michael Tout, officiating. Military interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Three Rivers. Memorials will be directed to the Disabled American Veterans.
