Jeffrey Messer, 46

JEFFREY ALAN MESSER, age 46, of Sturgis, Michigan passed away early
Tuesday morning October 12, 2010 at his home.

He was born September 16, 1964 in Sturgis, Michigan a son of Rosco and
Joy (Kuhlman) Messer.

Jeff was a lifelong Sturgis resident and a graduate of Sturgis High
School with the class of 1983.

He enjoyed NASCAR, music, working on cars and loved spending time with
his son Nick.

Jeff is survived by one son, Nicholas Messer a student at the University
of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio, Mother, Joy Messer of Sturgis, three sisters,
Rhonda (Doug) Shannon of Three Rivers, Sue (Ray) Dykstra of LaPorte,
Indiana and Sheila (Larry) Taylor of Mulberry, Florida, brothers, Wayne
Messer of LaPorte, Indiana, James (Linda) Messer of Albion, Indiana,
Marvin (Sandy) Messer of LaPorte, Indiana and Tim (Rose) Messer of
Mishawaka, Indiana and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, one brother, T.J. and one
sister, Christine.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. Saturday at the
Sturgis Baptist Church, 26268 W. Chicago Rd., Sturgis where a memorial
service celebrating the life of Jeffrey A. Messer will begin at 3:15
P.M. Saturday. The Rev. Gregory Long will officiate.

The Hackman Family Funeral Homes – Hackman Chape* of Sturgis is
entrusted with the arrangements.
