Lonnie Penn, 50

Lonnie David Penn, age 50, of Nottawa Township, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at his home.

He was born Oct. 23, 1959, in Houston, a son of Jerry and Shirley (Owen) Penn.

Lonnie served his country in the U.S. military. He was a truck driver for A.G.A. Gas Company of Elkhart, Ind., formerly of White Pigeon.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Jeffrey Penn; and one sister, Levon.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his family, mother and step-father, Shirley (Bill) Schrock, of Three Rivers; daughters, Tia Clark, of Colon, Stephanie Penn, of Kalamazoo, Britanie and Michelle Penn, of Edwardsburg, and Katelynn Penn, of Niles; one son, Johnathon Penn, of Edwardsburg; one brother, Daniel Penn, of Kalamazoo; two sisters, Tammy Reppas, of Sturgis, Jill Hershberger, of Topeka, Ind.; five grandchildren, Jaidan, Gracie, Kayleigh, and Ariana Clark, and James Canty V; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Hohner Funeral Home.

Interment will be held in Nottawa Cemetery.
