Annabell Seybert, 82

Phyllis A. “Annabell” Seybert, 82, LaGrange, Ind., died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at Miller’s Merry Manor in LaGrange after an extended illness.

She was born June 2, 1928, in Darlington, Wis., a daughter of John and Delma (Waters) Ramsier. She had also lived in Antwerp, Ohio, Scott, Ind., and White Pigeon.

On Feb. 13, 1948, she married Delvan F. Seybert in Ligonier, Ind. He preceded her in death Feb. 26, 2004.

She had been employed by the Indiana Toll Road at the Middlebury plaza. She was also a seamstress for Starcraft in Topeka, Ind., for 19 years, retiring in 1990.

She was a member of Scott United Methodist, United Methodist Women and other women’s groups. She enjoyed cake-decorating, making candy and painting.

Surviving are two daughters, Shirley (Tony) Holsinger of Howe, Ind., and Linda (LaMar) Hochstedler of Topeka; a son, Gregory A. Seybert of Grand Rapids; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her husband; her parents; two sisters; and two brothers.

Visitation is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at Scott United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jeffrey Stedge officiating. Burial will follow in White Pigeon Township Cemetery in White Pigeon.
