JAMES THOMAS CHESS, 45, of Coldwater, Michigan, passed away early
Monday morning November 8, 2010 in the 1800 block of S. Centerville Road
in Sturgis due to injuries sustained in a pedestrian truck accident.
He was born July 6, 1965 in Cadillac, Michigan a son of the late Thomas
and Suzy (Gately) Chess.
James was a lifelong Coldwater resident and a graduate of Coldwater High
School with the class of 1983.
On October 29, 1988 he married Lynette Rodgers in Fremont, Indiana.
James was currently employed by Morgan-Olson in Sturgis.
He is survived by hi wife, Lynette, one daughter, Kirsten (Kevin) Ryan
of Coldwater, two sons Sean Chess and Jayson Chess both Coldwater, one
brother, Ronald (Julie) chess of Coldwater, one niece, Paige Rodgers and
two nephews, Charlie and Truman Rodgers.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial
service celebrating the life of James T. Chess will be held at 2:00 P.M.
Thursday at the Light of Messiah Fellowship Church, 371 E. Copeland Rd.,
Coldwater, MI 49036. Pastor John Rodgers will officiate.
