Casey Richard Starks, age 16, of Bronson, Michigan passed away Friday evening January 28, 2011 in Sturgis Township due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born October 29, 1994 in Sturgis, Michigan the only child of Gerald and Lori (Wotta) Starks.
Casey was a lifelong Bronson resident. He was currently a member of the Junior Class at Bronson High School where he was a member of the tennis team and the track team.
He attended the Pleasant Hill Missionary Church and enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, four wheeling and hanging with his many friends.
Casey is survived by his parents, Gerald and Lori Starks, grandparents, Richard and Helen Wotta of Bronson, Great Grandmothers, Margaret Wotta of Coldwater and Marian Cary of Bronson, aunts, Nancy (Steven) Post of Middleville, Sally (Wayne) Geer and Sandy (Randy) Dudley of Bronson, Cousins, Lauren, Lindsay, Bradley, Jessica, Bryan, Andrew, Cece and Natalie.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Virginia Starks.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, Feb. 1st at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Church, 886 Pleasant Hill Rd., Bronson, Michigan. Funeral services celebrating the life of Casey Starks will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the church. The Rev. Dale Walterhouse will officiate. A graveside committal will follow the service at Fry Cemetery in Noble Township.
