Kathryn Hilda Gasior, age, 86, of Three Rivers, passed away at her home Friday, February 25, 2011. She was born January 9, 1925 in Mattawan, Mi, the daughter of John and Luella(Britton)Butler.
Kathryn graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1942. In 1944 she married Melvin Jacobs who now lives in Florida. In 1974 she married John Gasior. Kathryn was the head of housekeeping at Three Rivers Hospital for a number of years before working in the same capacity at Riverview Manor formerly known as Dosa Manor where she eventually retired from.
Her favorite pastimes were Artex painting, knitting, working plastic canvas, weaving and reading. Spending time with her friends was also important to her.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Gasior, son, Paul Jacobs, brothers, Thurlo and Carl Butler, sisters Vivian Butler, Marian Corey, and Frances Shutes.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Linda (Gary) Blood, of Three Rivers, Mi.; son, Thomas Jacobs of Three Rivers, Mi.; brother, John Butler of Kalamazoo, Mi.; sisters, Loranne Jacobs, Hilda Jean Harmon of Three Rivers, Mi., and Rosemond Inman of Battle Creek; grandchildren, Michelle (Michael) French, Michael Blood, Jennifer Harwood and Thomas Harwood; one great grandchild, Kayla Marie French, and nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 2:00p.m. at Moorepark Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Maria Rutland officiating.
