M. Blanche Kline, age 101, of Mottville, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011, at the Fairview Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre in Centreville.
She was born in AuGres, Mich., on May 11, 1909, a daughter of David A. Delbert and Merry Jane (Beals) Broadworth.
On Oct. 16, 1928, Blanche married Lowell R. Kline in Elkhart, Ind. He preceded her in death in November 1974. Blanche worked for Speigel Catalog in Elkhart, and on the family farm. She was a member of the Vistula Christian Church, the Farm Bureau, and the Vistula Ladies Aid.
Surviving Blanche are her son, Lyle (Sherrill) Kline, Constantine; daughter-in-law, Nancy Kline, Saginaw; grandchildren, Christine (Jon) Hamminga of Constantine, Randy (Kolene) Kline, of Constantine, Michael (Kathy) Kline of White Pigeon, Terri (Chris) Baker Kline of Atlanta; Doug (Nancy) Kline of Apex NC, Scott (Angela) Kline, of Armada, Mich., and Jill (Roy) Krang of Saginaw; 26 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Gale Kline; grandchildren Andrea Gregory, Jeff Kline and Connie Kline; and brothers Albert, Isaac, Charles, George, Melvin and Amos Broadworth.
Relatives and friends will be received Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Religious services will be held at Porter Baptist Church, 12032 Teasdale Lake Road, Constantine, on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry Bratton, officiating. Interment will be at Vistula Cemetery, Indiana.
