James Erdos, 49

James Thomas Erdos, 49, of Schoolcraft, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly Monday evening, Aug. 22, 2011. James was born on Oct. 10, 1961 in Three Rivers the son of Steve and Ruth (Walton) Erdos. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Schoolcraft. He worked as a detailer for Wheat Auto Body and Paint in Three Rivers for over 22 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents. James is survived by his wife, Debra (Shelton) Erdos whom he married May 31, 1986; a son, James Joseph Erdos of Schoolcraft; three brothers, Steven Ray of Vicksburg; Jeffrey Lee of Flowerfield and Dustin Lynn (Joyce) Erdos of Three Rivers; a sister, Somer Kaylaine Shelton of Schoolcraft; his mother-in-law, Melva Shelton of Schoolcraft; a brother-in-law, David Shelton; several aunts, uncles, cousins; nieces and nephews: Courtney Sharp; Rayann Erdos; Derick, John, Connie and Greg (Cari) Shelton and many great nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 26 at the First Presbyterian Church of Schoolcraft with Pastor Paula Vander Hoven officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
