Ernest Bradley, 63

Ernest G. Bradley, age 63, of Sturgis and formerly of Willard, Ohio, passed away Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.

He was born Oct. 13, 1947, in Lexington, Ky., to the late Eli and Dollie (Castle) Bradley, and had been a Sturgis resident since 1988.

Mr. Bradley was a certified welder, having retired from Grumman-Olson Manufacturing in Sturgis, and had owned and operated his own trucking company and car dealership.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma (Patrick) Bradley, whom he wed on July 29, 1988; a son, Roger Bradley of Sturgis; two stepsons, Stevie Neeley of LaGrange, Ind., and Richard Neeley of Sturgis; six grandchildren, Collin, Catelyn and Ryhlie Bradley, and Brandon, Krystal and Samantha Neeley; two brothers, James Bradley of New London, Ohio, and Alford Bradley of Florida; a sister, Ruth Alsept of Mt. Sterling, Ky.; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tabitha Bradley; and six brothers, Paul, Ted, Marian, Jack, Roger and Eli Jr.

Friends may call from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Roy Kilgore officiating.

Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio.
