Dema Matteson, 79, formerly of Three Rivers, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, Friday, Sept. 2, 2011. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She worked at General Telephone Company, was the store manager at Kirlin’s Hallmark, was an avid Detroit Tigers fan, and loved kitties. Dema is survived by her husband of 51 years, Charles Matteson; son, Michael Shaneour (Darlene); daughter, Cindy (Matteson) Harwood (Phil); brother, David Draper (Linda); granddaughter, Ashley Glatt (Neal); grandson, Michael Harwood. She was predeceased by her father and mother, Eugene “Doc” and Violet Draper of Hillsdale, and brother, Robert. The families would like to thank Odyssey Hospice and many others who gave their love and support. No services are planned at this time.
