Enos J. Bontrager age 79, of Burr Oak, passed away early Friday morning, Sept. 23, 2011, at Sturgis Hospital.
He was born Aug. 8, 1932, in Sikeston, Mo., a son of the late John M. and Elizabeth (Mullet) Bontrager.
On April 22, 1971, he married Clara Yoder, who passed away July 6, 1988.
Surviving are four brothers, John Bontrager of Centreville, Ezra J. (Marie) Bontrager of Centreville, Henry J. (Beverly) Bontrager of Sturgis and Martin J. Bontrager of Centreville; a sister, Fannie (Willis) Yoder of Centreville; and two sisters-in-law, Lydia (Yoder) Bontrager of Centreville and Betty Bontrager of Missouri.
He was preceded in death by six brothers, Manassas, Benidict, Levi, William, Alvin and Neal Bontrager; and a sister, Miriam Yoder.
The family will receive relatives and friends after 3 p.m. today and all day Sunday at the home of Mervin and Sylvia Eash, 62275 Farrand Road, Burr Oak.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Amos Hochstetler Jr. residence, 27217 Wasepi Road, Centreville. Burial will follow at Old Order Amish Cemetery, Centreville.
The family was assisted by the Schipper Funeral Home in Colon.
