Olive Rose Gross, 79, of Constantine, died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011 at Heartland Health Care Center in Three Rivers following an extended illness.
She was born April 28, 1932 in Constantine the daughter of Clarence and Elsie (Church) Lemon, and lived in the Constantine area all of her life.
She married John R. Gross on May 15, 1953 in LaGrange, Ind.
She was employed by Drake Casket Company, did window manufacturing and was a homemaker. She enjoyed her family and housekeeping.
She is survived by her husband, John R. Gross of Constantine; daughter, Kimberly Ann (Donald) Mercer of Bristol, Ind.; two sons, Brian Lee (Vicky) Gross of Constantine and Barry A. (Ronda) Gross of Minocqua, Wis.; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Cleo (Mike) Smiley of Three Rivers, Josephine Keifer of White Pigeon and Jenny McClish of Three Rivers; two brothers, Joe E. Lemon of Constantine and Russell (Barbara) Reed of Elm Hall; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jim and Clarence Lemon; sister, Helen Demski.
Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 21 from 5-8 p.m. at the Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon where services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Peek Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Donation envelopes are available at the funeral home.
