Vera McVay, 60

Vera M. McVay, 60, of Woodruff, Ind., and formerly of Colon, died at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, at Parkview LaGrange Hospital, LaGrange, Ind.

 She was a homemaker. She was a member of Moose Lodge No. 1351 in LaGrange.

 Vera enjoyed helping others by volunteering her time, setting up fundraisers, and helping those in need. She liked to play bingo and go to the casino.

 She was a terrific mother who loved to be loved.

 She was born Oct. 28, 1951, in Coshocton, Ohio, to Clarence Wilson and Minnie Lou (Sizemore) McVay.

Surviving are her companion, Jack Binkley Sr. of Woodruff and formerly of Sturgis; a daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and David Inman of Coldwater; a son, Frank “Bud” Blake Jr. of Coldwater; five grandchildren, Devin Inman, Derik Inman, Jessica Inman, Josee Inman and Alexis Blake; her mother, Minnie Lou McVay of West Lafayette, Ohio; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Gloria and Gary Weller of West Lafayette, Ohio, Vivian Deglar of Wooster, Ohio, Linda Spitler of Austin, Texas, and Nancy and Jamie Miller of Applecreek, Ohio; and a special friend, Max Krauter of Colon.

 She was preceded in death by her father; and a grandson, Precious Angel Blake.

 Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, SR 9 N, Wolcottville, Ind. Burial will be in Woodruff Cemetery.

 Preferred memorials are to Moose Lodge No. 1351, 410 E. Central Ave., LaGrange, IN 46761.
