Anna Sadler, 85

Anna (Betty) Sadler, age 85, of Three Rivers, went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2011, with her family by her side. She was born in Pontiac, MI on October 1, 1926, the daughter of the late Hugh and Pearl (Hamilton) Milton. Anna was a loving woman, whose strong faith made her a joy to be around. She was a loving daughter, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her. On August 4, 1946, she married the love of her life, Arnold Sadler, who survives; they had just celebrated 65 years of marriage. Together they raised four wonderful children and enjoyed making memories with their grandchildren. Anna was a faithful member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, and baking. Together with Arnold, she enjoyed traveling, going to garage sales, and square dancing. She also leaves to cherish her memory 4 children, Kim (Judy) Sadler, Kathie Kohl, Kelly (Susie) Sadler, and Kristan (Gary) Bristol; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Ruth Tompkins, Eleanor Felts, Ida Perryman, and Lois (Jim) Waulkazoo; many nieces, nephews, cousins. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011, at 11:00 AM, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, with a visitation beginning at 10:00, one hour prior to the service. Interment in Moorepark Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, c/o the funeral home. Arrangements by Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St; Three Rivers, Mi. 49093.
