As members of the Three Rivers Lions Club are finalizing plans for the organization’s 47th annual Citizen of the Year banquet, they are announcing that nominations for the 2012 recipient are being accepted.
The criteria for prospective nominations include recognizing a person for their commitment to service and for giving their time unselfishly for the betterment of the community.
The 2011 recipient was George Cole.
Entries should include a brief summary of why the nominee is deserving of the honor. All nominations must be postmarked by Feb. 15 and sent to 620 Pine St., Three Rivers.
