James C. Hesher, 77, of Constantine, died Thursday, March 15, 2012, at his home following an extended illness.
He was born May 23, 1934, in Sturgis, Mich., a son to Glen A. and Bernice M. (Brockway) Hesher.
On June 28, 1958, he married Margaret L. Fuller in Constantine.
He had been a Constantine resident since 1958, coming from Scott, Ind. He was employed at IXL Kitchen Cabinets of Goshen, Ind. for 10 years and was owner of Hesher Supply Company in Constantine.
He enjoyed camping, traveling, riding bikes, farming and most of all spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret L. Hesher of Constantine; daughter, Debra (Tim) Schuetz of Constantine; son, Steven Hesher of Constantine; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jeanette Swartzentruber of Centreville, Janet (D.W.) Swartzentruber of Sturgis and Jeanie (Gerald) Hart of Scott, Ind.; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David Hesher.
Relative and friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Farrand Funeral Home of White Pigeon, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Jim Bender, of the First Baptist Church of Sturgis, officiating. Internment will be in White Pigeon Township Cemetery.
