Gwendolyn Marie Tavernier, 59, of White Pigeon, died Friday, April 13, 2012, at her home.
She was born Feb. 16, 1953, in Three Rivers, a daughter to Richard E. and Wanna L. (Keller) Lewis.
She was a resident of White Pigeon, coming from Cleveland, Ohio. She was employed in manufacturing for Syndicate Systems, Owens Illinois, Lear Segler and Crocker. She was a member of AA and enjoyed her grandchildren.
Surviving are a daughter, Jenna (Leonard) Bauder of White Pigeon; son, Douglas (Sarah) Vogel of Cleveland, Ohio; mother, Wanna (Richard) Heitkamp of White Pigeon; two grandchildren, Kalyn and Leonard IV Bauder; three sisters, Glendora (Brad) Beard of Charlotte, Mich., Kathleen Stiles of Sturgis; and Georganne (Brian) Vaughn of Howe, Ind.; two brothers, Richard (Claudia) Lewis and Gary Lewis, all of Constantine; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Roxanna Groves; and her father.
There will be no visitation. Graveside services and burial at Mottville Township Cemetery will take place at 11 a.. Tuesday. The Rev. John McClimans will officiate.
Arrangements are being handled by the Farrand Funeral Home of White Pigeon.
