A White Pigeon woman was the winner of Saturday’s Cow-Poo-Looza event at Central Elementary in White Pigeon.
A ticket purchased by Lisa Eger was drawn after the Holtein used to determine the winner failed to produce a cow pile.
Event co-organizer Jody Davidson said Daisy, on loan from Burr Oak farmer Rich Ultz, was hot and agitated for the first 90 minutes of the event. As a result, the cow was put back in her trailer and the winner was chosen through a random drawing.
The premise of the event was based on a 500-square grid and the sale of $20 tickets. Half the proceeds went to Eger, while the Central Parent Organization kept the other half for the purchase of materials at the elementary school.
