Donald P. Moline, 76, of Brighton, Ind., died Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at his home.
Mr. Moline was born March 20, 1936, in Kalamazoo, to Robert Sr. and Edna M. (Bowser) Moline. Both preceded him in death.
In November of 1995, he returned to the Howe, Ind., area, where he had lived before moving to Sturgis, where he lived for 20 years. He was a 1955 graduate of Brighton High School in Brighton, Ind., and served with the Michigan National Guard from 1961-1967.
Mr. Moline had worked at Associate Finance Company in South Bend, Ind., for 20 years and at Kirsch Company in Sturgis for 20 years. He was a member of Brighton Chapel in Howe, Orland American Legion Post 423, Fraternal Order of Eagles Arie 1314 and Sturgis Elks Lodge 1381.
On Oct. 8, 1988, he married Christine May Milliman in Burr Oak. Mrs. Moline survives in Brighton.
Also surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Michelle and Scott Carr of Sturgis and Alecia Frutig of Sturgis; a son, Jeffery Moline of Garita, N.M.; five granddaughters, Mary Moline, Whitney Mondragon, Samantha Wilder, Mikayla Buglione and Olivia Frutig; three grandsons, Joshua (Jocelyn) Wilder, Garrett Buglione and Eric Frutig II; two great-granddaughters, Cheyenne Mondragon and Isabella Love; his twin brother, David Dale Moline of Brighton; and a special nephew, Mark Moline.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Moline, Jr. and Edward Moline.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Brighton Chapel, 5415 North SR 3 Howe, Ind., with the Rev. Rustin Krapfl officiating. Burial will follow in Brighton Cemetery in rural Howe, Ind.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2012, at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, Ind.
