Carol Ann Myers, 78, of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012. She was born on May 9, 1934 in Newstraitsville, Ohio, the daughter of Cartilage and Wilma (Williamson) Webb.
Mrs. Myers was united in marriage to the love of her life George on Dec. 25, 1953 in Logan, Ohio. Together they raised their children on the family dairy farm in Three Rivers. Carol also was employed at Continental Can, Michigan Power, and later at D&W and Meijer’s in the bakery dept. She and George have been long time members of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church where they were very active.
Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Mark Myers.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, husband, George Myers of Three Rivers; one son, Timothy Myers of Three Rivers; two daughters, Sharon (Wayne) Bistodeau of Sand Point, Idaho and Joanna (Leonard) Knight of Tatlayokolake, B.C., Canada; daughter-in-law, Kathy Myers of Kalamazoo; eight grandchildren, Stephanie, Alisha, Heather, Justin, Joshua, Jamie, Jesse and Ethan; three great-grandchildren, Jayden, Rylee and Makhira.
Carol’s family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 13 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 14 at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Rev. Ed LeClair officiating.
Interment will be held in White Pigeon Cemetery.
