Collision causes injuries

Three people were treated for minor injuries following a two-vehicle accident last week in Centreville.

Police said a 17-year-old Centreville woman stopped on Shimmel Road at M-86, and proceeded to turn in front of an eastbound vehicle driven by a 39-year-old Middlebury woman. The eastbound vehicle struck the Centreville woman’s car, forcing both vehicles into the westbound lane of M-86.

A total of three people were taken to Three Rivers Health for treatment following the Sept. 18 incident.
