Police searching for a man shooting at vehicles along a busy Michigan freeway corridor are pulling over cars involved in “suspicious activities.” State police Lt. Mike Shaw says vehicles parked along roadsides, coming out of wood lines on the side of freeways around Interstate 96 or doing anything else seemingly out of the norm are being stopped. Two dozen shootings have been reported this month on and around I-96 from Oakland to Ingham counties and up M-52 into Shiawassee County. Ten incidents have been in Wixom. Shaw says the suspect is believed to be shooting at vehicles he passes from the opposite direction. Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard said Tuesday that more than 200 tips have been received after a reward was upped Monday to $102,000. (AP)
