Names have been released

Names of the two people arrested after a shooting-and-stabbing incident in Three Rivers earlier this week were released by the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department.

Nicole Lajewski, 22, was charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Meanwhile, Ryan Haymond, also 22, was charged with discharging a firearm inside a dwelling while intoxicated and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Lajewski’s charges stem from an alleged incident that occurred around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday at her residence in the 600 block of French Street. She allegedly stabbed an 18-year-old Three Rivers man and allegedly shot twice and stabbed a 20-year-old man from Three Rivers, investigators said.

Her bond is $200,000, while Haymond is also in the county jail with bond set at $30,000.

Investigators said the four are acquaintances.
