Marjorie Ruth Hora, age 87, of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully early Monday, November 26, 2012 at the Heartland Health Care Center. She was born on March 16, 1925 in Three Rivers, MI., the daughter of Ross and Wilma (Healy) Ream.
Marjorie has been a life long resident of Three Rivers. She and her late husband Raymond, whom she married on March 9, 1946 and who passed Jan. 2, 2009 had been life members of Trinity Episcopal Church and also the Three Rivers Lion’s Club. They were also very active in the C.O.A., E.C.N., and volunteered religiously for the Soup Pot and Meals on Wheels.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond, and two granddaughters, Jennifer Weed and Christine Kaufman.
Mrs. Hora leaves to cherish her loving memory, two daughters, Mrs. Merrie (Bill) Kaufman and Mrs. Lois (Steve) Weed, both of Three Rivers; two grandsons, David (Diana) Weed, of Three Rivers, and Brian (Jennifer) Kaufman, of Kalamazoo; four great-grandchildren, Meritt, Atticus, and Elliot Weed, and Kennedy Kaufman.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Trinity Episcopal Church, with Fr. David Lillvis officiating.
Interment will be held in Peek Cemetery.
