She was born Nov. 12, 1950, in Sturgis, Mich., daughter of the late Frederick W. and June (Blackburn) MacPherson.
Cheryl resided her entire life in Sturgis.
She had been employed by Midwest Tool, Wendy’s and the Shell Station all in Sturgis and she also worked as a waitress, but the job that she took true pride and joy in doing was the raising of her seven children.

She was currently an active member of the Christian Fellowship Center in Sturgis where she was involved with Celebrate Recovery. Cheryl enjoyed reading, cooking and going to Wal-Mart where it seemed she knew nearly every person in the store. Cheryl had hobbies and involvements but what was always most important to her was her family. She cherished each of them and considered it a real blessing having them in her life.
She is survived by six daughters, Stephanie (Shawn) Marbaugh of Sturgis, Alisha (Pat) Rodgers of Sturgis, Darlene (Kevin Edwards) Burch of Three Rivers, Carol Burch of Battle Creek, Jill (Howard) Keith of Newberry and Mary Seady of Kalamazoo; one son, A.J.
