TR Food Pantry appealing for monetary donations

Representatives from the Three Rivers Food Pantry are issuing a public appeal for monetary donations now through the end of April.

While there is always a need for help, the pantry is promoting an opportunity through which it will receive 10 percent credit in its account for all monetary donations made through April 30. The offer is available from the Food Banks of South Central Michigan thanks to a matching challenge.

Donations may be made through the website foodbankofscm.org, or through the mail to Food Banks of SCM, Box 408, Battle Creek, 49016.

Memos indicating Three Rivers Food Site will allow the agency to qualify for the Feinstein Matching Challenge.

Last month, the Three Rivers site helped feed 125 local families.
