No-wake order

A high water level at Colon Township’s Sturgeon Lake has prompted the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department to close its public access.

In addition, the sheriff’s department is enforcing a no-wake policy throughout the lake. The no-wake order will remain in place until further notice.
