Beulah “Honey” Belle Graber, 79, of Constantine, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Borgess Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 2, 1933 in Hazard, Ky. the daughter of Spicer and Elizabeth (Smith) Dock.
Mrs. Graber has been a long time resident of this area. She and her husband Ervin, whom she married on Sept. 7, 1952, have owned and operated Graber Industries for over 50 years, where Beulah oversaw the day-to-day operations. Beulah will be forever remembered for her many meals for family and friends, which often were the product of her fruitful labor in her garden, which included flowers and produce that were shared by many. She loved hosting family gatherings and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, husband, Ervin Graber of Constantine; two daughters, Wilma (Paul) Wilder of Three Rivers and Faythe (Charles) Schrader of Centreville; one son, Tim (Judy) Graber of Three Rivers; six grandchildren, Aaron (Justine), Amy (Ross), Tim (Julia), Corry (Tim), Benjamin and Autumn (Brock); 11 great-grandchildren. Beulah was the eldest of 10 siblings, all of whom survive.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 9 at the Moorepark Community Church, with Pastor Ken Miller officiating.
Interment will take place in Locust Grove Mennonite Cemetery.
