Bonnie Kauszler, 88

Bonnie Adele Kauszler, age 88, of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 24, 2013 at Bronson Select Specialty Hospital in Battle Creek. She was born in Three Rivers on September 19, 1924 the daughter of Paul E. and Mabel (Prutzman) Hagenbuch.

Bonnie has been a lifetime resident of Three Rivers. She was united in marriage to Mr. Jack Kauszler on December 29, 1946. Bonnie was an excellent homemaker and mother. Bonnie and Jack were members of the First Presbyterian Church where she was very active teaching Sunday School for many years. Bonnie loved to play the piano and organ, and was always very active in her childrens activities often volunteering for many events.

Preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Doris Martin.

Mrs. Kauszler leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband, Jack Kauszler; two children, Jim (Debbie) Kauszler, and Susan (Mike) Kaiser, both of Three Rivers. Three grandchildren, Mary (Mark) Schindel and their children Claire and Markus, of Warsaw, IN., Jackie (Mike) Hankins, and their children Savannah and Diana, of Three Rivers, and Chrissy (Tom) Shively, and their children, Priscilla, Abby, and Brady, of Osceola, IN.; one brother, Lloyd Paul “Brud” Hagenbuch, of Three Rivers.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Hohner Funeral Home with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Randall Painter officiating.

Interment will be held in Riverside Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be donated to the First Presbyterian Church (Building & Grounds Fund) or the American Cancer Society. Envelopes available at Hohner Funeral Home in care of arrangements. Online condolences may be left at www.hohnerfh.com.
