James A. Singleton, 62, of Three Rivers, passed away Tuesday evening, Aug. 27, 2013 in Bronson Methodist Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was born July 24, 1951 in South Bend, Ind. the son of Kenneth “Wink” and Pauline (Lobaugh) Singleton. On Aug. 22, 1969 in Constantine he married Pamela K. Rouse who survives.
He graduated from Marcellus High School in 1969. He was a Bluegrass picker with the Deadwood Band. He enjoyed golfing, spending time in his yard and his gardens. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving besides his wife, Pamela, is one daughter, Jackie (Phil) Steele; one son, Joseph (Kelly) Singleton; two sisters, Kathy (David) Rains and Kimberly (John) Golden; one brother, Michael S. (Dorothy) Singleton; nine grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Jan MacCallie. He was preceded in death by his parents.
