Melvin James Beardsley, 32, of White Pigeon, died Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, at the Three Rivers Health emergency room.
He was born April 8, 1981, in Sturgis, a son of James S. and Christine A. (Crossgrove) Beardsley.
He was a White Pigeon area resident all his life and was employed in trailer manufacturing. He was a member of Christian Fellowship Center in Sturgis.
Surviving are his mother, Christine A. Beardsley of White Pigeon; his father, Jim (Jane) Beardsley of Hillsdale; a sister, Charlotte Moreno of White Pigeon; a brother, James S. Beardsley II of Constantine; his fiancee, Heidi Wilbourn of White Pigeon; two children, Quincy Lehman and Journey Wilbourn, both of White Pigeon; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call from noon-2 p.m. Friday at Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon, where a service will be at 2 p.m. Friday. Pastor Glen Middleton of Christian Fellowship Church will officiate. Interment will take place in White Pigeon Township Cemetery.
