Louis Panczyk, 91

Louis Peter Panczyk, 91, of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 at the Heartland Health Care Center. He was born on March 28, 1922 in Three Rivers. He was the son of the late John and Bernice (Ciecerski) Panczyk.

Louis has been a life time resident of Three Rivers except for his honorable service during WWII in the United States Armed Forces. Following his term of service in the military for most of his adult working life, he worked as a tool and die maker for Peterson Spring Corporation; he traveled domestically and internationally for this company. He retired in 1982.

Mr. Panczyk was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Olga I. Panczyk; his second wife, Margaret Hoffman-Panczyk; his two daughters, Despina (Panczyk) Zangana and Mary (Panczyk) Thompson.

Louis will be greatly missed by his family and the extremely caring staff at Heartland Health Care Center where he resided for the last several years. He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Christine Panczyk of Denver, Colo.; one sister, Ann (Panczyk) Denis of Hayward, Calif.; nephew, Philip Thompson of Bangor; other family members including nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his many friends at Heartland.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
