Missing WMU student

The family of a missing Western Michigan University medical student is asking for the public’s help finding 30-year-old Teleka Patrick. Her Lexus was found December 5th on the side of I-94 in Portage, Indiana, several hours after she had last been seen in Kalamazoo in the parking lot of Borgess Medical Center. Patrick’s family spent the weekend putting up roughly 1000 “Missing” posters in a 15-square mile area around where her car was found in northwest Indiana. They are also trying to raise money to hire a private investigator. In the meantime, the family is urging anyone who may have information to contact the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police and Michigan State Police. At this point, investigators have said they dont suspect foul play in Patricks disappearance. A Facebook page dedicated to finding Teleka Patrick has been launched and the family is also asking people to use the hashtag #FindTeleka on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and other social media sites. Patrick is originally from Queens, New York.  (MRN)
