Patricia L. Jackson, 85, of Zeeland, and formerly of White Pigeon, died Dec. 25, 2013, at Baypointe Oakcrest Senior Living Community in Holland, following an extended illness.
She was born March 13, 1928, in Boyd County Ky., a daughter Roy and Belva (Sloane) Edmond. She had been a resident of Zeeland since 2010, coming from White Pigeon.
On Dec. 31, 1948, she married Raymond V. Jackson in Ashland, Ky. He preceded her in death Nov. 17, 1994.
She was a secretary and bookkeeper employed by the public school system and Charles Baber Architect.
She attended the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, walking, yard work and gardening.
Surviving are three daughters, Brenda K. Foley of Portage, Diana A. Jackson of Goshen, Ind., and Anita C. (Brian) Roark of Zeeland; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a half-sister; and a brother.
Visitation will be held 10-11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Mr. David Babineaux Jr. officiating. Interment will take place in White Pigeon Township Cemetery.
